“It was with real trepidation that we went away for a fortnight and left Hollie with Sarah and her family. My first dog and her only being 10 months old had us considering whether it was worth cancelling as we could not bear the thought of …her being kennelled. A friend suggested Walls 4 Paws and oh my, what a find!
The house and paddock was spectacular, a dog paradise! I loved that Sarah’s daughter gave Hollie hugs whilst we looked around, a good sign that she would not be neglected. Seeing pictures on facebook from the other side of the world was also reassuring.. Did I miss her? More than I imagined, did she miss me? NOT A CHANCE!
If your dog is social and loves other dogs then you’ll never find anywhere more suitable than this place. I’m sure some would consider cheaper alternatives, DON’T!! The peace of mind you get knowing that they’re in an environment where they have all that you can offer and so much more is priceless.

How right you were …. our luvly one year old Great Dane has had a wonderful time. Her social skills have indeed been enhanced by interaction with a wide variety of doggie friends and the wonderful family atmosphere has made her stay a real home from home. The fact that we were also able to see photographs and videos of Bella via Facebook was a great comfort and it was fab to see her happy and having fun.

“Family circumstances left us needing a place to look after my brothers large German Shepherd dog for a few weeks. Storm is quite an anxious dog who needs lots of attention and exercise and therefore it was important that he went somewhere that could accommodate his requirements and also handle such a big, strong (handsome) fellow. We looked around a few kennels and whilst nice and clean, we felt that they just weren’t right for Storm, particularly given the length of stay. Fortunately someone recommended Walls4Paws to us and having had several conversations with Sarah, I just knew that this was the perfect solution…..home environment, plenty of land to get some exercise, friends to play with and treated like one of the family. Two weeks into his stay, the change in Storm is incredible. He seems settled and calmer and I have to say Sarah has worked wonders with him. “For anyone wanting a great alternative to kennels, where your dog will be cared for in a loving home environment, then I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Walls4Paws. We took our 6 month old Cockapoo for an overnight stay there recently and I must admit we were a little nervous at leaving our baby for the first time. We needn’t have been. He had a fantastic time, made lots of new friends and enjoyed the freedom to run around outside on acres of safe, fenced land. Needless to say he slept like a baby when back home. “Hello Sarah & family, Just wanted to say THANKYOU!, for doing such an amazing job of looking after Dasher while we took a holiday over Christmas. I’m sure he’s missing all his mates out at your place, as when he heads out into our garden, he seems genuinely miffed when there’s not half a dozen pals to go tearing round the fields with! Dash came back looking a lot more like his working Mum & Dad, a…nd once he’d slept for a day, was almost bursting with energy. Dash has had a blast, and if he could talk, I’m sure he’d be asking when he can come back for a visit.
With that in mind I’ll be in touch about booking him in for a few days over Spring, and when we know about Summer holidays, you’ll be the first to know. There’s no going back to kennels for our Dash. Only the best will do for him now.
Hope you won’t be upset, but we’ve been suggesting Walls 4 Paws to just about everyone we see (that owns a dog, or knows somebody that does), so I may have to get booked up soon, so Dash gets his place.

“Dear Sarah, We would like to send a huge Thank you! For looking after our 6 month old Cocker Spaniel Puppy “Topsy”. She had an absolute ball, knowing that she can be rather curious/nosey/sociable… We knew she would get into all sorts of mischief with the bigger dogs… She justifiably came home absolutely shattered.
But, we never worried about her for a moment, your knowledge & instinct are 2nd to none and she was so well cared for,and despite the bigger dogs, she was given quiet time, feeding time on her own & sleep time!!! But she loved play time the most!

“We have an 11 year old Doberman named Jewels; she stays at Walls4Paws each day whilst we go to work. She still thinks she’s a puppy and at Walls4Paws she has the freedom to be herself, to play, to sleep, to literally be a dog and be happy. When we take her to Sarah and Kev’s she knows she’s going and can’t wait to get there. It’s worse when we pick her up as she doesn’t want to leave!
As much as we love Jewels and she us I think she would happily stay at Walls4Paws for ever. She loves it there and we have noticed a marked increase in her demeanour, attitude and general quality of life since we started there. Sarah and Kev are lovely people who love dogs and are so flexible when with little notice we need an overnight stay.
I can’t recommend Walls4Paws more highly than this; If the need arose I would happily leave Jewels with Sarah and Kev for the rest of her life. I know she would be happy and well loved every day.

‘Thank you so much for taking care of our crazy Irish Setter, Benji for two weeks in September. I was concerned about leaving him as we had taken him on as a rescue 5 year old only a few months earlier. He is such a needy chap and I knew he would hate the isolated feel of a boarding kennels, but I could tell he would get the individual care, love and attention he needs by staying with you in your lovely home.
I thought I would worry about him whilst we were away, but I didn’t because I could see straight away that he would have fun with you and be able to get rid of his endless energy.
When he arrived home, it was like he hadn’t been away. He was calm, relaxed and tired!!! Thank you so much. I have told lots of people about you and we hope to see you again soon.’
“Richard and I just wanted to take the time to thank you for the wonderful care, that you gave to Monty whilst we were on holiday. It is such a relief to find a dog lover, who treats their guest dogs as one of the family. We can tell that Monty had a wonderful time with you, as he had a doggy smile on his face and seemed totally relaxed about the whole visit. Unlike his ‘Mum and Dad’ who were rather nervous. It will be wonderful for Monty to have a home away from home to visit and for us to have the peace of mind to enjoy our holidays and weekends away, safely in the knowledge that Monty is having as much fun as we are. “We used Walls 4 Paws in September 2012 whilst we were staying in the area on holiday. Being dog lovers we always take our Japanese Akita, Kana, on holiday with us. However being parents to a young child we also find a lot of places we want to go now are not dog friendly. Walls 4 Paws was the perfect solution! Kana spent 3 days with Sarah and the other dogs and loved every second!! Sarah has the perfect set-up which means the dogs enjoy an equal mix of socialisation, exercise and play but also have enough space for some time out if they want it. Sarah is extremely professional and knows dogs! We would highly recommend Walls 4 Paws, it is a shame a similar thing is not common elsewhere. “I was so pleased to find Sarah and “Walls 4 Paws” when I needed to find somewhere for my young dog to stay when we went away recently. I visited first, and the atmosphere was so calm and friendly, I knew she would settle in immediately. It was lovely to know that my dog was in a home environment and mixing with Sarah’s gorgeous Labradors. Mojo loved her stay with Sarah. She had clearly enjoyed the company of her doggy friends. The odd text from Sarah while I was away made it obvious that Sarah has quickly understood my dog, and I was able to completely relax and enjoy my time away. I will, without hesitation, be asking Sarah to have Mojo again whenever I go away in the future. To be honest, I think she enjoyed her time with Sarah so much, I’m tempted to book her in with her for the odd couple of days even when I am not away, just so that she can have an awesome time with her doggy friends!”

To be honest i have been lost for words. i was so nervous about taking Rocky anywhere again after his last experience but you were recommended to me. The best piece of information i could have ever been given i can tell you. Rocky looks so well, so happy and so contented. You have given him first class care. The groomer has made a fantastic job too. His fur is shining and he smells good enough to eat. I felt at ease as soon as i brought him to your lovely home. You made him feel so welcome. What excellent facilities you have. Rocky was in his element. I will definitely be bringing him back when we go away again and will be recommending you to everyone. He has slept off and on since he came back and its like he never went away. That is the proof in itself. I cant praise you highly enough Sarah or your family.

“We are both very protective of our four legged baby and were really worried about her going into ‘normal kennels’. Almost all of which seem to be a doggy prison and extremely in-personal with the owners and pet.
A friend recommended Walls 4 Paws. Immediately as we drove down the lovely farm drive I was put at ease- the surroundings were perfect for a dog to run and play safely. We were met by Sarah and her labs all of whom welcomed us and Burghley very warmly.
On entering the house there was another guest, a large labradoodle, relaxing in a large armchair and looking very content- it was then I knew this was a very special place for dogs on their holidays.
Burghley went straight out into the huge paddock that is completely secure and ran off to begin playing with the other dogs- full of excitement and happiness!
The set up is absolutely fantastic and definitely a home from home feeling for the visiting dogs. Much to our relief, Burghley seemed to forget who we were-she was so settled in her new home for the weekend.
We drove away so happy and relieved that we had found Walls 4 Paws- and was convinced that Burghley would have as much fun on her weekend adventure as us- if not more!
During the weekend we received a lovely picture text from Sarah that showed just how much Burghley was enjoying all- again a lovely gesture.
When it came to collection Burghley was in no rush to leave her new home and friends and we heard all about what she’d been up to (including some mischief) which was all handled impeccably.
The price is so reasonable and we now feel that Burghley has somewhere to go that she can look forward to- and somewhere that means we can forget about her, knowing she is 100% happy and cared for instead of being worried that she is locked in a dreadful cage.
I can not recommend Walls 4 Paws highly enough- you must try it and see how much your dog will love it! x”
“We would just like to say a big thank you for making our 5 month old puppy, Ody feel so welcome when he stayed at Walls 4 Paws last weekend.
It was Ody’s first time away from us and it was just like home from home for him. It was so reasurring to leave him in such a lovely environment and it was obvious that Ody had had a great time being one of the family.

“My two labs, Alfie and Archie recently stayed with Sarah and her family. They have the most fantastic home and I felt very privileged for them to be invited to stay, they received the same love and care that would have received in our own home, we had no hesitations that this would be the case. We left them in their capable care, and felt at ease knowing that our dogs would be well cared for in such a loving environment. They were never short of being given attention! Abbie was very willing to let our dogs fall asleep on her, this is a home from home experience for the my boys which I’m sure they throughly appreciated.
On our return home they were exhausted from all the activities, so were happy to return back to the sofa for a snooze. But still they seemed to be sulking as they were missing their new found friends from Walls 4 paws. They will definitely be going back again for their own fun packed holiday!

“There is an English phrase that is used in descriptive terms to illustrate the very best. Walls 4 Paws could legitimately coin this phrase for its own – ‘The Dogs Bollocks’. This is not to cause offence but the most apt expression to describe this establishment.
From the initial telephone conversation and the subsequent meet and greet visit you immediately feel at ease with Sarah, the surroundings and the complete ethos of the set up. Sarah has a very down to earth, no nonsense approach accompanied by a caring, attentive attitude to your dog and their individual requirements which are all noted down. The black Labradors also vet the prospective lodgers and have to give their seal of approval.
One of the most important features for an enjoyable holiday is knowing that your dog is going to be cared for in a loving, safe environment and Walls 4 Paws certainly delivers. Our dogs stayed at Walls 4 Paws for a total of 39 consecutive days – one less than the animals on Noah’s Ark! We had every confidence in our choice of accommodation and we were not to be disappointed.
On our return we were delighted to see them outside with all of the other residents. They were happy, fit and healthy. Yes, they were pleased to see us but following the initial excitement, they were also happy to return to the pack or relax in a favourite chair.
We wondered how they would react on their return home. We need not have worried, it was as though they had never been away and this proved that they were happy and relaxed at Walls 4 Paws.
We are extremely grateful to Sarah, Kevin and Abbie who embraced the Noah challenge and we award five stars for the enthusiasm, care and commitment, which far exceeded our expectations.
The dogs will be returning for another visit and we feel privileged to have such an excellent amenity in our locality.

“We originally put Boot into kennels when we went away but it always seemed unnatural and stressful (for the dog & us) and we became reluctant to go out for the day if the dog couldn’t come as well.
Then we found Walls4Paws – life changed – somewhere we can drop Boot off (for the day or for the week) where she has a great time with her friends of all species, is well looked after and gets to run around all day, far more so than at home. An added advantage is that when we get her home she is totally “corpsed” for the next 24 hours (at least) – not a peep out of her. Nowhere else we would take her now – Boot’s Holiday Home!”

“Sarah was recommended to us by a mutual friend and to find such a fantastic service available so close to home was nothing short of a God send! As both of us travel with work on an adhoc basis, either planned or at short notice, to have the peace of mind that Enzo will be cared for by Sarah and treated as ‘one of the boys!’ along with Sarah’s own 4 Black Labs just brings such peace of mind.
Whether having booked weeks inadvance, or calling at short notice; whether Enzo visits for a few hours, or stays for two nights; Sarah and family (and of course ‘the Boys!’) make him feel at home! The service is priceless and therefore great value for money!

“Having recently moved to the area, we were keen to find a ‘home from home’ for our Weimaraner Hendriks as we often have to travel away at weekends. After meeting Sarah – plus her doggie entourage – for just five minutes, Hendriks was soon at home and romping around in the lovely big field out the back. Hendriks clearly has a ball every time he stays over and, better yet, comes back exhausted!

“My puppy Zak had his first “away from home” experience with Sarah and I was reassured by the attention to detail for his care and well-being.

Bertie lives in our house with us so boarding kennels were never really an option for him. At Walls 4 paws you make him part of your family which is exactly what Bertie is used to. He can go in and out as he pleases and run around the very extensive gardens and play with his little friends- it is just the perfect set up for us and totally unique as far as we know!
